We Wish You A...

Park Lights

 Earlier this week my family and I went out for dinner and then to a park to walk around and look at Christmas lights. My camera doesn't shoot well in low light situations, so I had to take photos on a slower shutter speed. 

As a result,  many of my photos were blurry from an unsteady hand ;)

But I got some that were good, and it'll give you a little of an idea of what Christmas is like here!

I can't get over how wintry this photo looks.... but seriously, it was like 80 degrees outside. These are the only pine trees I've seen in this city!

Nothin' like a plastic Santa parachuting out of a tree to get you in the Christmas mood! ;P

Well, merry Christmas to all! 

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Kids Christmas Party | 3

 Last segment of photos from the Christmas party.... :) I know it's a lot of photos to post...too many :S

Sadly, it began to rain during the performances.

 Umbrellas & towels were pulled out, and the relocation began.

 A few took cover under tents set up, while waiting for the rest to exit to the covered court.

 Quieting the kids down... "Can you hear the rain?" :D

Kids Christmas Party | 2

 Alrighty...here's part two of the Christmas party!

There was a karate demonstration...I may post photos of that, but I still need to go through and edit all of them :P

 CUTE!

 

 This kid had a good sense of humor :D

 There was water in plastic bags for kids to drink. You would just grab a bag, bite a hole in it, and suck. Really quite cheap and efficient!

 I have no idea what she was doing here!

 Some students presented skits/dramas for the kids to watch. I made a slideshow of one of them, but it is not uploading well. I'll see if I can figure something out :)
